General Nursing and Midwifery(GNM) Nursing

Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM course is a 3 to 4-year diploma in paramedics. Nursing and Midwifery focuses on the provision of care to individuals, families, and communities. The course can be pursued after successful completion of the 10+2 level of education in the Science stream from a recognized educational Board, with a minimum aggregate score of 40%.

GNM nursing course usually involves the compulsory completion of a 6-month internship in the discipline as well. This professional, job-oriented course in education lasts 3 to 4 years, with the duration varying across institutes. The course may also be availed of part-time in certain institutes of the country.

Eligibility:

  • Educational Qualification : The applicant must have passed Twelth standard(10+2) of maharashtra state board or equivalent examination of any state.applicant who passed 12th with PCBE group are given preferance.however studants of arts and commerce are also given admission based on their merit.
  • Applicant must have secured 45% aggregate marks in their 12th(HSC).
  • 70% admissions of the total seats(40)are reserved for girls student only.
  • Married Candidates also can apply for admission.
  • Minimum age for the admission shall be 17 years and maximum age will be 35 years.
